The new Superzoom feature lets you record a 3-second video where the camera quickly zooms in on the subject in focus, & the application adds tense music for dramatic effect. So, With the latest update, you will now see a music icon on top of the Superzoom button. Click on it, & you will see three different effects — Bounce, Beats, and TV Show.

This Bounce effect zooms on the object and adds a cartoonish background noise while Beats adds background music of a party. Meantime, the TV Shows effect zooms on a person & offers an old romantic movie or TV Show vibe.

Features That are Being Tested

Well, In addition to the aforementioned new features, Instagram is also testing a native Regram button. While the name suggests, the app will allow users to reshare images or video to their device from their account without using a third-party app.

A different feature is the new GIF Search for Stories which allows users to search and add GIFs to their Stories or regular posts. Some Regram button would be a great and much-needed addition. Nevertheless, I hope Instagram stays away from GIFs as I don’t think it will go very well with the user interface’s aesthetics, which is more polished than Facebook & Twitter.
